Joni died peacefully after a battle with sickness surrounded by her family. Joni was born to Aletha and Wilbur Dent, in the town of Jamestown, North Dakota, where she graduated from high school in 1975. She is survived by her daughters Carmen and Katrina as well as three sisters and one brother. And a few aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She recently retired from her career as a Claims Adjuster for a health insurance company. She was loved and will be missed by many. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, her Red Hats group and their outings, pet sitting cats and dogs of friends and family, and spending time with her family.
