Charles Hermas Burley
Chuck slipped away in his sleep without warning, leaving his family and friends in shock, confusion and with broken hearts. No one got to say good bye.
He was one of the good guys, generous with his time and talents. In a flash he would grab his tool belt and hammer and be there to help you. He could build just about anything you could conjure up. Chuck spent most of his working years in construction, but also in the printing business at Brother Pete's print shop for 17 years. His final employment was in a warehouse picking orders, which he loved as it was indoors.
Chuck served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970.
Chuck and Linda both graduated from Edmonds High School in 1962 and were able to attend their 50th reunion last September.
Chuck fathered three boys, Shane and twins Ronn and Ray. He also helped raise step daughter Leesa.
He was predeceased by his parents Art and Milly and brothers Jerry and George (Pete). .
He is missed by his wife Linda, sons Shane, Ronn and Ray, step daughter Leesa, Brother Paul, Sister Mary, grand children Madison and Brighton and two nieces.
Chuck will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
There was no service, his remains were cremated.
