Gerry and Terry - On the Road

Colleen Marie (Flaherty) Mosbacher, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 19, 2024, after a short illness at the age of 91. She was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on July 17, 1933, the 12th of 15 children to Edward and Anna (Lester) Flaherty. 

It was in Jamestown, North Dakota where she met and married the love of her life, William (Bill) Mosbacher on May 6, 1949. She worked as a seamstress, was active in the PTA and Happy Home Makers. In 1971 she moved to Lodi, CA with Bill and their 4 youngest children. Colleen continued to work as a seamstress for over 60 years. She loved her family and God with her whole heart. She attended church every Sunday and continued to watch services on TV when she could no longer attend in person. She loved baking, butterflies, angels, her daily soap operas and spending time with her family.  She passed down her love of sewing to her daughters and granddaughters. 

Colleen is survived by her children Della (Bob) Grasto, Jamestown, North Dakota, Randy (Mary) Mosbacher, Redding, CA, Christine (Vern) Cooley, Lodi, CA, Susan (Dan) Fields, Overgaard, AZ and Lee Mosbacher, Lodi, CA, her sister Joyce, sister Mary and brother Gerry, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, Her son Lee took loving care of her for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, William (Bill); infant daughter Debra; her parents Edward and Anna and 11 brothers and sisters. 

Graveside service will be held on Thursday October 10th at 11:30am at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. In leu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Adventist Health Home Care Hospice 209-536-5685.
