Juanita Holbrook Ingram
Juanita Holbrook Ingram, 89, of Tampa, Florida passed away on December 1st, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Larry Ingram, Sr., and daughter Deborah Lynn Ingram. She is survived by her 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Son Robert Ingram Jr and wife Linda Faye, Daughter Linda Ingram and Daughter Julie Ingram Quinn and husband Richard. Grandson Jonathan Ingram and wife Tayshia, Granddaughter Elisabeth Ingram, Grandson Lucas Quinn and wife Jesenia. Great grandchildren Micah Jackson, Brooklyn Ingram and Matthew Ingram.
Juanita was born April 15th 1934 in Boyd County Kentucky to Mable and Proctor Holbrook. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Larry) in 1953.They traveled the world together serving our country in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1976. Retiring to Tampa, Florida in 1976. Juanita became a dental assistant after she raised her surviving three children.
Always up for a challenge, she went to work at the University of South Florida in the Media Relations department. After retiring again in 1995, Juanita and Larry loaded up their motorhome and traveled the United States. As they traveled in the western United States, they researched and edited Juanita's four Historical Western Fiction books. "Just One Bullet Left, Finding Dakota, Blue Mountain and Puckerbrush Cannon." After the loss of her love in 2017, Juanita lived a quiet life in Tampa.
Visitation will be held on December 8, 2023 at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home 3328 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, Fl. 33629 beginning at 1:00 pm and funeral is at 2:00 pm.
A private ceremony will be held at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
