Ed Elliott
Edward Elliott, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a true adventurer at heart, was born on February 6, 1959 and passed away on September 12, 2023, doing what he loved most - embarking on incredible journeys alongside his lifelong love, Dora.
Ed and Dora's wanderlust led them on extraordinary adventures, traversing the United States in their RV. Together, they created countless memories and forged lasting friendships with the people they met along their travels. Known as a 'fix-it' and jack-of-all-trades, Ed had an uncanny ability to lend a helping hand to those in need. He took great pleasure in helping those he loved. Ed's heart belonged to his family, and there was nothing he treasured more than the smiles of his children and grandchildren. Bringing joy to their lives was his greatest pleasure, and his love for them knew no bounds.
In the later years of his life, Ed found joy working summers at Adventureland Theme Park, where he had the privilege of brightening the days of countless children. He particularly cherished the moments spent hosting his grandchildren at the park, creating memories they will forever hold dear.
Ed is survived by his devoted wife, Dora Elliott, their two loving children, Jennifer (Ben) Kadolph and David (Amy) Elliott, and his siblings Rusty (Sandy) Elliott, Lucy (John) Gager, Deb (Rollie) Ott, and Robin Elliott. Ed's legacy lives on in the hearts of his eight beautiful grandchildren, including Hayden Elliott, Jannie Kadolph, Leo Elliott, Layne Kadolph, Harper Childs, Caroline Kadolph, Sullivan Elliott and Odin Kadolph.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Kate Elliott, his brother Mike (Deb) Elliott, and sister Linda Elliott.
Ed Elliott's spirit of adventure, generosity, and love will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
