Full-Time RVing through the USA and Canada since 2001...
This year we waited until April to leave Corpus Christi, but it was still cold with snow storms brewing in the Dakotas and Minnesota. Fortunately, we did not leave Texas until after the MILWIT rally in Wichita Falls the first week in May. From there we were heading for Washington state (to first see Gerry's sister Joyce and other folks including Terry's brother and more cousins and friends, then on down the coast through Oregon and down to southern California and back to Texas. The sudden death of Sandy's husband Gary took us straight to Lodi for a couple of weeks. As we were heading up the coast, news came that Sandy had been taken to the hospital and was in ICU. As we waited on word of Sandy's condition, we continued up to the Portland area where we found a safe place for the RV. Terry flew back to Lodi, Gerry drove the car over to visit his sister Joyce before driving the RV back to Lodi, where we remained for July, August and September. Sandy ended back up in the hospital and we were not able to leave until the beginning of October. We headed down to spend a month near Mike, Lisa, & the kids before starting our trek back to Texas - via San Diego, Yuma, and Phoenix - and on in to Texas.
