Fort Worth, Texas
We had several reasons to stop in the Fort Worth area. Jane, an old friend and neighbor from Corpus lives there, and so does Maggie, who was the caretaker at the property in Corpus Christi where we spent our winters. We had a chance to see Lukas and Maggie's mom and see where Maggie works now. We took the opportunity to spend one evening downtown and have dinner at the Cattlemen's Steak House. Then we had the opportunity to meet Meg, a great-granddaughter of James Ball Naylor, and her daughter Kate - Naylor's great-great-granddaughter. What a treat that was! She showed us some family treasures and Terry shared some of her items with her.
