The capital building was very impressive, especially the stained glass in the rotunda and above the senate and house galleries.

The depot downtown houses a small railroad (Union Pacific) museum.

The Frontier Days Old West Museum has many exhibits and art depicting the spirit and hardships of those who shaped the West.  The old carriages were of special interest.  A marvelous video of Cheyenne Days over the years was a special treat.

The Nelson Museum of the West featured many wildlife trophies from all over the world, as well as many cowboy trappings and posters.
