Mansfield, Ohio
We were in Mansfield for the release of Johnny Appleseed in a Rich Land by Peggy Welch Mershon, our latest title. But our main purpose was to spend time with Bob and Jackie. Over the years we have seen one of their grandsons, Mitch, grow from a young boy into a young man about to head to college. We were there when Bob had gall bladder surgery (he did well). We ventured out to a hillside that overlooks Malabar Farms, and Bob took us to see some of the key locations in the book. We went to Mass at St. Peters downtown this time. And we went with Bob to take old photos to a new coffee shop where many of his photos are featured.
