Bay City, Texas
Once we left Boerne to head east we made a stop in Bay City to meet someone I've known for years to be a shirt-tail relative. My mother took care of her father and his siblings when he was a little guy. An older sister ended up marrying my uncle. They live just south of Houston and our timing was not the best - Hurricane Harvey was approaching, so we didn't stay long. Just long enough to really hit it off. And not long enough to meet their newest grandbaby, Vincent.
