Lancaster, Ohio

We took some down time on our way to Stockport to prepare and to play tourists at a spot in Ohio we had not been to before. Lancaster is a very picturesque town with lots of history. The campground we stayed at is on a strip of 20 0r so sites along a creek - part of an encampment that includes a couple hundred cabins with 160+ permanent residents and includes some historical buildings. We were really tickled to discover that a special exhibit on Edith Head was on loan to the Decorative Arts Center from Paramount Pictures. It is especially relevant to us because granddaughter Jillian is going to Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles.
