It had been a few years since we'd been to Gerry's hometown. We caught friends Darrel and Judy just before they left for a trip - managed to sneak in a breakfast. Gerry still has lots of nieces and nephews - and now lots of "greats" here. Sharon is the daughter of Gerry's sister Betty and Troy is her son; Della is the daughter of his sister Colleen; the rest are his sister Maxine's granddaughters and their families. We all gathered at the local Pizza Ranch. The four youngest girls are Gerry's great-great-great nieces. (He must be really old!!!) Besides visiting lots of his old haunts, we finally got to see the Veterans Memorial where Terry had bricks for each of the five brothers placed in honor for their military service. We even found Gerry's longtime friend Donald Metzger's brick!
