On our way back down the coast, Don and Mary's was our second to the last stop. Gerry promised Mary he would return and continue to help her get settled in their new place. This was where Terry caught a nasty bug. Don was pretty frail at this point, so Terry had to stay away. It turns out he passed away just days after we left (see obituary for Don Derby). Gerry worked his usual magic, organizing and fixing things. They are blessed with a wonderful church family who has been so supportive through all of this.
