The Navy's campground at Admiral Baker Field is right in the middle of everything, and there are two golf courses right there. It is a great place to stay. Visiting Charlene, Gerry's niece, was a real treat. Gerry waxed nostalgic by touring the U.S.S. Midway and we also visited the former Naval Training Center where he went to Boot Camp. All of NTC now houses civilian businesses, apartments, and museums, etc. We visited the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcalá before, but this time we attended Sunday Mass there. - Be sure to check out Page 2 of San Diego.
