Other Things We Did
We hooked up for lunch with one of Terry's second cousins. Susan is the only one we know from her branch of the family - so far! We also drove down to Pasadena to meet up with long time friend Kathy and meet Bob - on the way back we got caught in extremely slow I-5 traffic due to a brush fire right next to the highway. The Hart Museum was also closed because of the same fire. We were able to go through the ranch house, but that was all - a big disappointment for Gerry. And we had breakfast at the Halfway House Cafe - it is the site of a lot of filming for the movie industry - usually with a change in signs to represent wherever it is supposed to be located.
