Marietta, Ohio
One of the major reasons for our trip east this year was so that Terry could deliver her research material (used in the biography of James Ball Naylor that she wrote in 2011) to the Legacy Library at the Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. Naylor attended the academy there in 1879 and later, in 1937, the college awarded him an honorary degree of doctor of literature. The Naylor material now has a wonderful home where it can be used by students and researchers.
