More from Jacksonville Area - Vistors, a Tropical Storm & More
Several MILWIT friends stopped by to visit (J.J. & Ruby, Jack & Millie, Larry & Shirley). We finally connected with Roger & Puchi, old Navy friends from our first Corpus Christi tour, who were out of town every time we came through Jacksonville. We moved over to Pelican Roost campground up to front line along the ship channel for our last weekin the area. The highlight there is watching ships coming in and out. Topical Storm Beryl came through with a vengence! But we survived just fine. Dancin' in the Streets at Jacksonville Beach was one weekend adventure we went to, and we had one last visit with Karen and her family before heading out. At our first stop in Ocala, we visited with Lee, our very first RV mentor, and played Fast Track with her and some of her friends.
