On one of Karen's days off, we met her and her kids and Crystal at the beach across the channel from the base. Gerry bought a bean bag toss game for us all to play and promptly beat us all. The kids and Crystal enjoyed swimming in the surf while Karen fished. Terry enjoyed walking in the shallow water. Later the kids discovered why its not a good thing to feed the sea gulls. It was like something out of the old horror movie, The Birds! Then we all enjoyed dinner at Singleton's.
