Besides the Winter Texans that visit the area, several species of birds and ducks hang out at the pond at the property. Two spoonbills are frequent visitors as well as black-bellied whistling ducks. Charlie and Carolyn stopped by for several days and parked near the pond. We had a great time tagging along as Charlie showed Carolyn the area. Gerry celebrated a BIG birthday this year and had lots of help to celebrate. David and Carol and the boys and Brit and Lucas and Kay helped us celebrate with birthday cake - German Chocolate, his favorite! We also celebrated at Macaroni Grill with Joe and Dolores.
