MILWIT 2011 Eastern Rally - Bushnell, Florida

Bushnell, Florida, is about fifty miles west of Orlando and fifty miles north of Tampa - and a very long way from Corpus Christi, Texas. We made one stop in Biloxi where we hooked up with Bill and Pearl and hit a few casinos.  None of us hit anything big, but we did have a lot of fun playing the slots.  Velma put together a wonderful rally for us at Blueberry Hill RV Resort.  Although not much went according to the plans she had set up with the park, the rest of us hardly noticed - we were having too much fun.  Jack & Millie - who dragged us kicking and screaming (not really) - into MILWIT when we first bought our Winnebago, were here.  We had lost touch with them for more than 20 years when we bumped into them on our trip to Alaska in 2006.  Wayne & Sheila, with whom we have attended several rallies - and visited them at their home, were here also.  It was good to see Patti and Bob again, newcomers to MILWIT when we first met them last year.  We are especially glad that Bob has recovered from a serious illness.  Bill is this year's MILWIT president, so he and Pearl were here as well.  There were a number of other folks that we knew from previous rallies, and it was great to hook up with them all again.  The highlight of several evenings was karaoke.  As you can see from the pictures, there was a lot of participation, and we all had such fun.  The group indulged Terry and listened as she read a number of poems by James Ball Naylor and told them about her book.  Be sure to checko to see close ups of everyone.
