Visiting St. Louis is always a treat
for us. We now have MILWIT friends who live near Scott Air
Force Base, and we had dinner with them at their beautiful place in
the country. It is also a very special treat because we get to
visit the Budweiser Clydesdales. This trip, we were in
for a little surprise because the new breeding farm is actually
located two and half hours west of St. Louis. But that did not
stop us. We just made a day trip out of it. Our friend,
Jim, arranged a special visit and we got the grand tour. On
the way back we made a quick stop at Grants Farm where we visited
more Clydesdales! Last time we stayed at the base, Terry won
eight rounds of of golf. This time the daily $100 ball
at the driving range dropped into her basket! |
