Driving into Lake Pointe feels like coming
home. How great it was to discover that our friend Milt is on the
mend, though still a bit weak after battling cancer all these months.
He was strong enough to play lots of double-pack Pinocle with us and
Tricia. And to play many hands of Mexican Train dominos with us
and Tricia's sister Jane and husband Gene, as well as when we were joined by Earl and
Nancy. We stuck around for Octoberfest weekend - lots of fun and
games and contests and even a little dancing. We topped off our
stay by shopping for a new tow vehicle, debating long and hard over
another Saturn.
