There are no RV parks close in to Miami, so we
actually stayed in Ft. Lauderdale and drove down to Miami to visit Nancy
and Nels before they headed for Chicago to a Cubs game and then on to Colorado for the summer. Nancy's
daughter Marsha came by to say hello. The weather was wonderful and
we enjoyed the outdoors with them. Although their favorite college
baseball team, the Miami Hurricanes, were not playing a home game that
they could take us to, they did play at Boca Raton later in the week.
Nancy & Nels could not make it, but we did, and it was a wonderful game.
The Hurricanes were behind 10 to 2 and they came back to win in the 9th
inning 12 to 10.
We also spent an afternoon at the Gulfstream Horse Racing Track, a beautiful facility.
