From Mile Zero in Dawson Creek, BC, we drove 282 miles
to Fort Nelson where we stayed overnight, then drove 318 miles the next day to
Watson Lake, Yukon. With the latest edition of the Milepost as
our guide, we took full advantage of the many pullouts and viewpoints
along the way to stretch, take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and wash the bugs
off the windshield. Since it is daylight till around Midnight, we had no
reason to rush. Every new curve presented a new photo opportunity.
We saw stone sheep, caribou and even a bear, as well as bison and wild horses.
We also got our first ding in the windshield.
