Terry first met her cousin Joe in the Washington, D.C. when Vicki was born.  We last saw him before we left the D.C. area in the late '80s.  Joe is now retired on a 20-acre farm south of Portland where we parked the RV.

Joe gave us a tour of Mount Angel, including St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Abbey located there.

For exercise we accompanied Joe on his daily walks in the woods with his dog Yolda.

 

The local Tulip Festival was just winding down when we got there.
