One of our day trips was to Whistler, a region that has the terrain and conditions for a lot of different outdoor activities year round.  We were particularly interested in seeing the mountain biking area.  For the price of a lift ticket, riders get all-day access to miles (or, I should say, kilometers) of trails and paths and jumping areas.   Our son, Mike will be at Whistler for a mountain bike symposium about 10 days after we leave the area, but he will not have much time to spend with Mom and Dad even if we hung around longer.  What a treat it was for Mom, though, to see several riders with Mike's Atomic Laboratories parts on their bikes.
