Vancouver, B.C. Canada

June 2005

We made several trips in and through Vancouver, staying in the area longer than originally planned to have some work done on the Saturn (normal wear & tear).  This gave us a chance to see Gerry's niece Marian's son who works in Vancouver.   We wandered through the Gastown section of the city and had lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory there and then spent the afternoon at the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park.  The bridge itself is a 450-foot long foot bridge crossing 230 feet above the Capilano River.  On the other side is a Living Forest exhibit and a tree top adventure of 650 feet of cabled suspended bridges 100 feet above the forest floor linked via eight Douglas firs.
