Although we did not plan for it, we arrived in Wall, South Dakota just in time for their Wall Days Celebration.   Included was a Rodeo within walking distance of the RV park where we stayed for a few nights.

Wall is also home to the famous Wall Drug Store, a huge building housing many different little shops and attractions.  Gerry remembers many of the displays from a trip he made through the area as a young boy.

Unlike the Grand Canyon, where the roads are mostly around the rim, the roads in The Badlands of South Dakota weave up and down and around.  The views are spectacular.
