Rollins, Montana

August 2004

Rollins is up in the northwestern part of the state, not far from Glacier National Park.  Terry's cousin Don (and Kitty) live up on a mountain with a road a bit too rocky to navigate with the RV.   Luckily we found a nice campground just outside of Rollins.   The last time we saw them was in Roseburg just after Gerry retired in 1993, and then only for a quick visit.  This time we stuck around long enough to get reacquainted.  Don and Terry did a little genealogy "stuff" together and Don took Gerry out to shoot his pistols and muskets.  That was a rare treat for Gerry.  Kitty baked us an blackberry pie from berries she brought back from Oregon.  That  was a rare treat for Terry.  Scrumptious!
