Our last visit till Texas was with Nels and Nancy who spend half the year in Colorado and half in Miami.  This was a good time not to be in Florida with all the hurricanes.  It was a treat to see them twice in one year.  They took us on a side trip to Estes Park, a small, picturesque community tucked in a valley near the Rocky Mountains, and then to Boulder for an afternoon of strolling and shopping and listening to music.  Nels also fixed his excellent ribs with fresh field corn that same evening.
