We started the New Year in Lodi, California, where we visited family. Gerry still has two sisters and two brothers who live there as well as a lot of nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law Julie (Jim's wife) was recovering from major surgery and not up to having pictures taken. We were tickled to see David, Gary's son, and to meet David's wife, Toni and baby daughter, Jordan.

There wasn't nearly enough time to spend with Terry's best friend Terry. We did squeeze in a short visit with Terry and her mother.
We also stopped in Stockton to see Marge Hall, whose husband, Bud, died on December 19th. Son, David was home for Christmas and had a chance to spend quality time with him before. We first met them in Corpus Christi and we've visited them in Stockton before. Rather than being a sad visit, it was a joyous recounting of Bud's life.
