Colorado Springs, Colorado

September 2004

We drove from Cheyenne, Wyoming through the southwest corner of Nebraska and then back down toward Denver and on to Colorado Springs where we stayed in a beautiful setting at the campground at the U.S. Air Force Academy for 5 days.  While there we played a little golf, visited the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, took a train trip through the Royal Gorge from Canon City, drove the 20 miles up Pike's Peak Highway to the top and saw a classic car show at Cripple Creek.
