Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Fort Bragg was a nice place to layover for a few days, although it turned out to be longer than a few days when I caught a bug of some sort.  There are also 3 golf courses on base, so there was plenty to distract Gerry - and me as well.  I actually played my first nine holes of golf and on my fourth game I finally even made par on one hole by sinking a 25-foot putt.  Just a few months ago, golf wasn't even a consideration.  I guess life is full of surprises!   What surprises me most is how much I'm enjoying it, partly because It is so peaceful out there.

On the Golf Couse

This is one place that we didn't do much sight-seeing, other than walking through a couple of museums on post.
