2002 |
We checked out the camping facilities at Vandenberg Air Force Base just above Lompoc. From there we explored a little bit of the coast over the weekend of June 28 - June 30th, 2002. We spent July 1st and 2nd in Lemoore visiting Navy friends Warner and Kathy Butler, who cooked for us both evenings. What a treat! Kathy is an avid quilter (as is Gerry's sister Joyce), so I took lots of pictures of her beautiful work. Of course Gerry was tickled to have a Navy buddy to reminesce with about old times and old frields.
