I-35 to 306 at New Braunfels (Exit 191), 18 miles to the first left turn after Silverleaf's Hill Country Resort.  Situated on 50+ acres in the heart of the Hill Country of Texas on the shores of Canyon Lake.  Planned activities during out stay (off season) included morning exercise class and once a week a two-mile walk on the Dam, Sunday night steak cookout (bring your steaks, they furnish the rest), Saturday night potluck, hamburger cookout on Wednesday night,  ice cream break at 2 p.m. on weekends.  Two swimming pools (smaller one adults only), clubhouse, laundry, hiking trails and picnic areas, 2 and 3 bedroom condos available for rent, and breathtaking views of Canyon Lake.
