Knoxville, Tennessee

We found a Coast to Coast campground north of Knoxville and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.  Sue and Tom, the owners, along with their helpers, Lois and J.P. were such fun to be around.  Besides, they cooked a wonderful meal every night.   Two evenings a week they had a jam session in their Opry House led by the Brushey Valley Boys Country and Bluegrass band.  Anybody could grab an instrument and join them, or sing with them.  We know our limitations - we just watched!!   We also found a very nice golf course and played 18 holes on two separate days.   We checked out Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg, a vacation area with lots to do.  There's even an old  working mill that we enjoyed checking out.
