2002

We left Albuquerque on September 24th, 2002 and and changed the route to go through Carlsbad and on through Fort Stockton, arriving at Canyon Lake on September 27th.  We stayed two nights at 7 Rivers Cove RV Park, a Coast to Coast park (for only a little while longer) just north of Carlsbad, New Mexico.  What a beautiful park!  Who would think we could be so impressed by a laundry room - but we were!  It was a beautiful facility built on land that had been farmed by the owner's grandparents.  They were in the process of changing the park to a KOA park and have lots of rallys held there.
