With all the flooding in the area, spots in campgrounds were hard to find.  Aid workers came in RVs to help.   Luckily, we had reservations in one of the campgrounds that was not flooded, and we arrived just after Interstate 80 opened again.  For the week we were there, Dubuque Street into downtown was still covered with flood waters.   At the dam, flood waters were a foot above the top of the spillway, down from 4 feet at one point.  Flooding was even worse in Cedar Rapids, 25 miles north.
